About a week ago I flew home with my friend Emily to go pick up my newly purchased car in Colorado Springs. We stayed for a brief visit at home and had a grand time. We spent some time walking around Garden of the Gods, visited with Ben and Kim, met Hyrum (for the first time!), and Rick and Mandy, and on the way home we stopped in Fruita to pose with Mike the Headless Chicken. It was a great trip and a nice break in the middle of finals!!

The Roomies
A few weeks ago my old roomates (from when I lived at Belmont my Junior year) and I got together for dinner at Laura Hess' new apartment up in Salt Lake. I just thought I would post the pictures. We had a grand time together, as usual. There are many more posts to come because there is a lot happening now, but it will have to wait until next week after graduation, moving, family visits, etc. are finished and I have my head back on straight!

Deseret Towers
My freshman year I lived in the dorms, which was a wonderful decision. There wasn't anywhere that would have been better for me to be! Last year they started destroying the building as they were a bit old, but more importantly, probably they didn't live up to fire regulations as there were no sprinklers on any of the 7 floors of the building. Those of us living on the 7th floor figured if there was a fire we probably wouldn't make it out. Anyway, for those of you who also lived in DT, this is what is left of the buildings. This is actually the remains of U-Hall which is where I lived. I spent many an hour at the top of this stairwell trying to get the most peace and quiet that I could while living in a building with a couple hundred freshman girls. Good times.

Another long break....
Wow, another month between posts. I'm a total slacker- I know! Things just get going and I forget to get on and put up a new post. School, work, research, and just plain old life have been keeping me quite busy the last month. I don't know what has happened that is too exciting. I have been busy trying to finish things up so that I can graduate! I finished my independent study psychology course, took a competency exam from my college, completed an exit interview, and have started applying for loans and looking into housing for the fall (just a little). It seems like the list of things to do never ends, but life's still enjoyable. I thought I would update with some photos. A few are from a basketball game that I went to (I think it was the Air Force game and we killed them :) ). The others are from Thursday- I babysat Robbie's kids. So that's not a ton of information, but at least a bit about what is happening in my life. I hope that you are all doing well!!
