The Next Chapter...

I'm in Topeka! Eight weeks here.  Well, less than that now, but close to 8.  I'm living in this almost cute 1 bedroom apartment. It's a month to month thing, no lease, slightly sketchy, definitely dirty, but I kind of love it.  It is fully furnished and directly across the street from the hospital/outpatient clinic where I am working.  It's definitely become my home, and it's been fun to have my own place. I included pictures. Since I'm only here 8 weeks, things aren't exactly organized.  I'll need all my boxes and there isn't any place to store them, so they are still around. But it's home. It's where I rest my head and I tell you, after 8 hours of trying to be a physical therapist- I need a place to rest my head.  I'm downright exhausted.  More to come in the near future, but here's where I am these days.

ok...so no pictures.I've tried to upload them a couple of times, but they won't upload. I have really slow internet connection here, so I'll try to go to somewhere else that I can actually upload them, but I still thought I'd post an update!

I PASSED!!!!

If you don't know what I'm talking about, I'm sorry that you've missed out on the stress of my life the last three weeks.  We had competency exams for our program today.  A comprehensive exam, basically practice for our licensing boards next year, that our program requires we pass in order to continue in the program. I passed.  Huge sigh of relief!
