What is new?

Welcome again to the update of my little life. Things have been crazy busy for me. I'll tell you that after starting the last two semesters of school in a state of recovery from surgery, it isn't something that I would recommend! It makes things rather adventurous. Really though, things have turned out well. My classes and work are keeping me very busy this semester. I have a lot of hours of actual class time so I spend a vast majority of my day on campus and my time at home doing homework and sleeping.

So, I tried to take a picture of my hand to show off my fancy new scars, but it didn't work very well- I included it anyway though- maybe I shall replace it later, but for now I can't really move it so that's the best I can do. I found out from my doctor that I had this extremely rare condition that the styloid process of my ulna bone was too long so it was damaging the carpal bones. As such, he removed the process. Apparently a procedure that is very rarely performed and a condition that is very rarely seen. What can I say? I'm one in a million!

Finally, news about grad school. I flew to Kansas City last Wednesday and had an interview at a small university called Rockhurst. I was actually very impressed with the school and the faculty members that I met. I should hear from them in the next few weeks about whether they will accept me. It's crazy to be thinking about going into a doctorate program, but really exciting too. Every time I go to the hospital to volunteer, I fall more in love with physical therapy. I can't wait to be doing it- as career and not a patient especially. :)

We definitely hope that your hand starts to feel better and that you do not have anymore issues. Goodluck with working on all the grad school stuff!!
