Grad School

I am so sorry that I didn't blog at all this week! It turns out that traveling while still going to school is a really difficult thing for me to do. This week I got back and had a rather important and difficult biochem quiz and a midterm to try and do on top of trying to get back on top of my day to day school work. I spent three hours and finished the quiz yesterday and turned it in and spent a lot of hours throughout the week studying and took my exam today- it was a terrible test (no one should have to do things like that!) but at least it is over so with a couple more days of hard work I should be back on top of things.

So, Colorado... the interview went well, I felt really good about how things went. The school has all brand new facilities and it looks like they have set up a good program. They were very adamant about the fact that they wouldn't be rushed in their decision, so they said that hopefully we would find out by the end of the month whether or not we got in.

All in all after the interview, a lot of prayer and even more thinking, I decided that I would rather be at George Washington. I felt really good about the school and the people while I was there and I just didn't have that same feeling at CU. Even if I get accepted, I think that DC is where I want to be, so this week I will send in a big fatty deposit (well not too big compared to tuition) and DC here I come....after I finish this semester and graduate of course. So there you have it, my future for the next few years. I am thrilled and terrified all at once, but I feel really good about it so there is little doubt in my mind that I am making a good decision.
