My freshman year I lived in the dorms, which was a wonderful decision. There wasn't anywhere that would have been better for me to be! Last year they started destroying the building as they were a bit old, but more importantly, probably they didn't live up to fire regulations as there were no sprinklers on any of the 7 floors of the building. Those of us living on the 7th floor figured if there was a fire we probably wouldn't make it out. Anyway, for those of you who also lived in DT, this is what is left of the buildings. This is actually the remains of U-Hall which is where I lived. I spent many an hour at the top of this stairwell trying to get the most peace and quiet that I could while living in a building with a couple hundred freshman girls. Good times.

We drove by DT the other day...it is kind of crazy to see the remains and now the big empty space.
